called on spec for a meal, asked if homecooked and was assured all food was, i ordered starters prawn cocktail and garlic mushrooms, prawns cheap frozen ones no sauce, mushrooms burnt frozen ones with water inside, chilli sauce out of jar, burger was burnt and pie was burnt crust so hard you could not cut it and steak filling obviously reheated lots very dry, and rock hard, manager/owner was aggressive and called us liers saying food was excellent, this was the worst ever meal we ever had don't eat here if don't want mild food poisening the food was frozen rubbish crap they do not care about customers only passing trade this was a disservice to scarboro' this pub deserves no stars it should be closed down.
