Let me start by saying I love At Home, I really do, but their unmatched selection and competitive prices is only part of the shopping experience and not enough to make up for some shortcomings. I guess I should also state that this is the only At Home I have been to so maybe my experience at this location is indicative of the brand as a whole. If it is, that makes me even more disappointed. This would easily be a 4 or 5 star review if they could staff the store appropriately. I have never been to the store where they have more than one register open, regardless of how long the line is. A recent shopping trip made the situation review worthy- with their one register open, the line growing, and the transaction was taking inordinately long. The cashier never radioed for help and no other staff bothered to notice until one of the guests in line went and tracked down an employee asking them to open another register. The employees that are present generally have a bored expression and no discernible retail service acumen. It's not a serious issue but it is always frustrating (because I feel like they intentionally under staff for labor savings) and I know to prepare myself for essentially zero customer service.
