Had a horrible experience this morning at the Gilbert restaurant. The Veggie Omelet was swimming in oil - had to use the toast to soak it up. The veggies was so overdone that it was impossible to eat most of them. The egg whites were ok, once I drained the oil off them. The fruit consisted of melons plus ONE sliced strawberries. The service was bad, we had to wait once we were seated for 10 minutes to place our order, had to wait for coffee, wait for refills, wait 30+ minutes to pay our check because the line was so long it was beyond ridiculous. We have always enjoyed Black Bear Diners up and down the west coast - today, it was a resounding no from us.
