Had a couple beers and dinner here on a Friday night, and can't give this more than three stars. House beer list seems long but on closer examination doesn't have much variety; out of about ten there are two stouts, two reds, and lots of IPAs. Sorry, but IPAs are a dime a dozen these days, the fallback when a brewer can't think of something more imaginative. The only thing that stood out was an apricot beer that was okay, but too hoppy. The session beer was not good, poor balance - way too hoppy and no malt character at all. The menu is trendy, full of olives and feta and all things hip and now. We had the potato nachos, which were very light on cheese, meat or anything but potatoes. I had a pizza, not impressed at all but I felt very healthy and cool eating arugula and mushrooms on a dry, cardboard crust. My companion had a salad which was average. Service was slow and mechanical, the bartenders had friends at the bar who required the vast majority of their attention.
