Home away from home. Hilton Garden Inn (HGI from here fwd) is my favorite hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. They used to have the crappy adjustable beds chain wide, but most have gotten away from that MISTAKE.
The staff was cheerful and competent, a statement that grows more and more rare. Very pleasurable dealing with someone who seems to enjoy her job.
Breakfast (at reward level) is free and generous. The wait staff, although busy, kept right atop of things frequently asking if I needed anything else.
You can't go better than HGI at this price level. A room should be clean, dark, and quiet. All three needs were met here!
