I stayed here with a friend one night when it snowed badly in February and I just wasn't in the mood to drive back to Columbus. We had seen a play at the Beck Center and gone out with more friends downtown after.
The front desk staff was extremely rude. The valet told us to park our own car in the garage across the street. They laughed when my friend requested a late check out and asked if there was a military discount.
The room was pretty, but it did not make up for the rudeness of the staff. I've never experienced staff laughing when asking about a late check out. Especially during a snow storm.
I now instruct friends and family to stay elsewhere when downtown. Don't waste your time here. Had I not experienced this with my friend, I likely wouldn't believe him. Just an awful experience.
