I was drawn in by the $35 Wash/Cut/Style Walk-in special. Admittedly, the place isn't too inviting - the "reception" area is a bit crowded and messy - but hey, I was feeling spontaneous.
All I needed was a bit of a trim with lots of layers because my hair was feeling drab and heavy. Ladies, we all know how badly hairdressers listen to direction sometimes, so I had a bit of anxiety walking into a new place.
I was paired with Sinead, and she is *wonderful*. She understood what I needed, checked in along the way and I got exactly what I needed - not an inch too short. No fuss.
I would've given it four stars but I'm a stickler for aesthetics. The place just needs a bit of TLC - maybe some brighter light in the back, tidy up the place a little bit.
The people at the salon had such fun, interesting personalities that it made it a pretty decent experience overall.
