This time it was my turn. Dr Roeder has seen my wife, daughter, and now me. I had a broken foot, and urgent care wasn't sure if I would need surgery/pins. Dr Roeder wasn't sure either, and ordered a CT scan. If the fracture met certain parameters he was going to want to do surgery to put screws in that would partially immobilize my foot permanently. Well, after viewing the scan he indicated if it was his foot he would not do surgery, and then he put a cast on it. Instructions for care were pretty clear and I go back in a few weeks for a follow-up (and a new cast; he is expecting the swelling to have gone down a lot by then and he will want to adjust the fit with a new cast). He does seem to move fast, but he always seems to answer all questions and concerns. I haven't healed yet, but he seems confident that I will.
