This Safeway is only good because it's walking distance from my house. They're constantly backed up with long lines, not because they're crazy busy, but because they usually only have 1 or 2 regusters open. What's worse is that they now got rid of their self checkout which means, as a person who only goes for small trips on foot here, I have to wait in lines of people who are actually doing their full on grocery shopping. The stocking is not logical. It goes food, food, food, frozen food, cat food, dog food, cleaning supplies, laundry, food, food, food, wine, beer, spirits. I know I'm being petty but when a place annoys me this much nearly everything about them annoys me. Plus, it's overpriced which shouldn't be the case considering they're understaffed. Too bad there isn't a Fry's walking distance from me.
