Ive been going to this mall since, well as far back as I can remember. I use to walk here with my friends after school and go to the arcade and get rosebud chocolates from the Bay. That's when they sold candy by the lb.The arcade was located behind where Murale would be situated right now. Actually the whole back corner behind Murale, was the old foodcourt, and arcade. Well enough South Center history, I like this mall for more than a few reasons. First off, it's been recently updated and they have relatively upscale stores. It is also bright & clean inside the foors always shine. I feel safe while shopping here, not like in another mall like Marlborough or Sunridge. Although I would shop in those malls if I was in the area. Here's a link to the mall so you can see a list of all their stores etc. http://www.southcentremall.com/directory.php
If I were to say anything negative about this mall, it would have to be the lack of choices in the foodcourt. No matter what mall you go to in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Canada for that matter it seems they all have the same choices or lack of. Taco time, Edo, Subway, KFC, DQ, etc.
