I like the tens unit therapy to loosen up muscles prior to adjustments.
They do a full adjustment. I sometimes have stubborn stiff muscles. Instead of just shrugging his shoulders if he can't complete adjustment he will get out the muscle tapper and loosen up my muscles to make sure I get a full adjustment.
He makes recommendations such as evenly distribute weight between both legs and not leaning on one hip and exercise for certain muscles that need strengthening.
