I too would like to praise Deke's!
After moving into my home in June I was shocked at my first electric bill so I called another company to come out and check my A/C unit. I was told that the compressor was dying and that I could add a compressor booster for $400, or since the unit was 20 years old, I really should by a new unit for $4900. I started to get estimates including one who said since the A/C unit was shot the heater which was 20 years old also needed to be replaced for $8900. Shocked at the price I called Deke's for another opinion. The service man, Darren came out and checked my A/C unit and found out that it already had a compressor booster installed and the only things wrong was the freon was low and the unit was really dirty. He saw no reason why once serviced, the A/C unit would work properly, but to achieve some savings on my electric bill I would be need to put in a new R-22 unit which would be much more energy efficient.
He then inspected my furnance and found that everything was working properly and if fact the the unit was in good condition and certainly did not need to be replaced at this time.
It's rare now days that you find a company that is so honest! As a new homeowner I feel the other companies were trying to take advantage of me. I will be a loyal customer of Deke's.
