I am updating my review because the owner himself reached out to me and was very concerned with my experience. I told every detail and he was very apologetic. The fact that he reached out to me shows that he cares about his customers. Which is very impressive. My coworker and I decided to give the place a try again. We were welcomed right away. When we were ordering they walked us through the menu. They offered a drink, dessert or corn on a cob. We felt welcomed. The food was good (I recommend to try the crispy sisig, it was delicious), pink lemonade was also a favorite and the restaurant was clean. I am giving him the 4 stars for taking the time to reach out to me and for the much better experience I received on our return visit.
