Visited Ulta today and it was a terrible experience, as always. This will be my last visit and I encourage you to try Beauty Brands or Sephora (both are 5 mins away). The employees at this store are rude, demeaning and feel it necessary to talk to you like you are not on their level. I have heard this from friends and even strangers talking in line at other beauty stores. I have experienced it myself for the last time. I will buy from nearby stores or buy online, but never here - ever again. I wrote an email to their corporate office several months ago when an employee told me I should buy my cosmetics at Wal-Mart because I asked if they carried a brand that they don't (it is $17 hairspray) but I guess that makes me too cheap for their high class standards (??). I use many of their brands and pay the price because I appreciate quality (DevaCurl, Lorac, Urban Decay, Clinique, Redken) but it seems that if you don't look like a 25 year old in a strip club, you aren't good enough for their services. Anyway, I never got a reply from anyone about the email, so this shows they don't value service, at any level. I hope others consider alternative options for their purchases. Thanks to all of my humiliating treatment, and the service from the manager, Amanda (today) I will never be back. UPDATE - I called the store to talk about my experience with a general manager. I asked him, "Brian" if he's ever read the reviews of the store because it's clear that many customers feel the same way. He said yes. I asked why they aren't doing anything to address this. He said "I'm not going to discuss our service plan with you." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I am a paying customer, if I don't deserve to know what your company is doing to provide good service, than that says it all. NOBODY in this company cares. STAY AWAY LADIES - it's not worth the aggravation.
