I have to review this hotel because there was a major situation that went wrong with our stay that should be addressed. We stay at Hiltons ALL the time. This one was brand new so we figured it would be nice and clean, and it was! However, when we checked in we were given room 507. We read the card wrong or something and tried our key on room 509. It worked, and we went in. Totally wrong room. Totally different key. While we were gone to dinner, someone else was assigned room 509 and entered. All of our belongings were in there and fortunately, they were honest people, and nothing went missing. It just seems very odd to me that two different people can enter the same room when our key wasn't even supposed to work on that door. Another thing I did not like about the hotel is the smoke detector. If you're sensitive to light while you're sleeping, you will appreciate this review. The smoke detector has a light that flashes so bright, it lights up the room. It was right by our faces, and I had to sleep with a towel over my eyes since I was not prepared for that. I give this hotel a 2 star (instead of 1 star due to the key situation) because it is clean, modern, and in a good location to South Park.
