I had been looking forward to seeing this for a while as I'm a big fan of Motown. And there's definitely a lot here. If you're a Jackson 5 fan, run, don't walk to see this show. There is a BIG Jackson 5 number and the dancers are on point. They did a string of hits and it's a good portion of the show. Only Jackson 5 though. Not Michael Jackson solo stuff - just so we are clear. On a another note, I feel a little cheated because in the poster they show 4 Temptation-esque guys but during my show there was only one. He did a HELL of a job singing but during the Temptation numbers it felt awkward with no background dancers. Keep this in mind if you see the show. There was also a pretty thorough Supremes tribute so you'll be satisfied if you're a fan. I'm more of a Martha Reeves fan (who was nowhere in the show) but we can't have it all. This was on par with the other Motown-ish show I saw called Solid Gold Soul. I'm gonna give the edge to that show if I had to pick one because they had a live band and more variety. But damn the Jackson 5 at Motown Extreme was pretty stellar too.
