Visited for the second time over the holidays, and I was really impressed. I don't remember if there has been a major remodel or expansion in the years since I last visited, but it felt much larger this time. Of course the carousel was new. I went with 4 adults, a 7 year old, and a 1 year old. I was a little worried that the kids would be bored by everything except the carousel, but I was completely mistaken. They have tons of interactive play areas for children. At least 3 separate rooms. My personal favorites were the model train exhibit and the airplane paintings near the elevator in the basement. If you're into cars, they have a ton of them, but that's not really my thing. The only negative part of the visit was parking. The designated lot was much too small for the number of visitors on a Tuesday afternoon. The real problem was that once you entered the lot and found yourself without a space, there was no way to exit because the gates are automated and no one was manning the booth. You either had to wait and hope someone would leave (there were already a half dozen cars doing this, so it would have been a very long wait) or try to squeeze through the gate and the curb to get out and look elsewhere. Next time I'll not even try to use their lot.
