I'm giving this place an extra star for effort. They deserve more than 2 star final review. Being they are a low-budget, family-ran establishment. I offered up some suggestions for fixes and hopefully management takes them into consideration.
I stayed here because I needed to save money being an exhibitor at an apparels convention. I did not encounter any bedbugs. If one person mentioned it you'd think others would. But my boyfriend is very sensitive to these situations and not one bite. There is a beautiful view of downtown (albeit telephone wires kind of try and mess it up - not their fault) ;)
There were 2 extremely helpful and friendly workers and management was on site and asked if all was okay, if there's a problem -- that's your opportunity.
All in all this is not home, but I was comfortable enough to stay here again if needed.
-1 star for pillows & towels. Towels are forgotten in major hotels but need larger towels and more pillows.
You shouldn't base these reviews compared to a true 5 star hotel... this will never be that. Review it based off what it is...a motel in need of a little TLC and help from customers to let management know what's needed.
