What we thought was a smooth transaction has proven to be anything but! Were not advised at contract signing that permanent plates would not even be ordered by the dealer until they received the out of state Title documentation for our trade-in. Paperwork that was submitted by dealership was incomplete and has been rejected by out of state DMV for revision. Temporary plate that was issued by dealership is only good for 30 days, so now we are facing driving with expired plates until dealership gets around to requesting permanent plates. Now we are between a rock and a hard place. General Manager unsympathetic.
