This is a review of the return desk. The service is usually top. A few months ago, I returned a couple of bottles of wine that one of my cardholders JUST purchased about 1/2 hour earlier. This employee was absolutely NOT Costco friendly. As soon as my turn came up, he was frowning and asked why I was returning. No problem, I answered but as I did so, he asks what was wrong with them and begins closely inspecting them. For what, I'm not sure. Whether they were opened and I drank them myself in the last 30 minutes before I returned them? What are members doing that this COSTCO employee would imply by the inspection and harsh face, that I too was trying to pull something on him (personally, one would think by all of that). I remember this guy from a previous encounter and he doesn't seem happy anyway. Hey, I'll take your job if you don't like it there. I do NOT appreciate being treated that way, looked down on for POSSIBLY doing something that I didn't, and esp from an employee at Costco, where I shop often like everyone else! where you can return anything for ANY reason, at any time. RUDE! Do not work the return desk again.
