Drove an hour from Gilbert because of a close family referral. STAY AWAY, Disorganized front office, lack of communication. I spoke to Kaitlyn on the phone when I made the appointment. Told her about skin issues I was having, and that I had two major areas of concern. I explained that I was coming from Gilbert and the earliest I can leave is 8:15 due to my children's school schedule; the earliest they can be dropped off is 8:15. I was told I could not see Dr. Lin because she does not handle a certain skin issue I have and she is booked until February. So I can see Dr. Lam instead Nov 4 (today) at 9am, i asked for a 9:30 and said it will take me at least 40-60 mins to get there, Kaitlyn said that should be fine, there is paperwork to fill out anyways leading me to believe the appointment would not start on time anyway-none ever do. So I get there at 9:15 as expected, late yes I know. The front desk girl Danielle (no hello, how are you, or welcome) tells me I have to reschedule because I am late, i explained I just drove an hour in the pouring rain. She then says she will see if they can fit me in. So she comes back and says I will have to wait about an hour or so to be squeezed in, i comply and fill out all the paperwork in the mean time. They call me back at 10:30, a medical assistant asks questions as to why I am here for the visit, I explain to her I have two issues I am concerned about. She tells me that in the computer it only states one of the issues of concern, I will have to come back to have the other issue addressed at a different appointment. I express that a full consultation should be a holistic approach, not one issue, I am being charged for a full consult right. She says yes but they are short staffed and since I was late it's basically my fault they can't fit me in for a FULL consult. I refuse to comply with partial care. She asks Dr. Lam I presume if he will see me for both issues, and he apparently said no, they can basically only give me 15-20 minutes for this appointment. I heard enough, asked for my paperwork and left. I called the office manager to discuss the issue. She listened but with little remorse or responsibility about the miscommunication/time frame allotted. She said she was going to listen to the recording of the phone conversation I had with Kaitlyn; should have done that over an hour ago. It's really unfortunate that I was in the office an hour and a half and she didn't even bother to approach me about any of these issues. Don't bother, sorry I took three hours with driving and waiting out of my day to attempt to give this place a try. Plus, any MD that takes 15-20 minutes for a new consult is ridiculous. I will not return and will not recommend this place. It is a very big practice that was filled with patients waiting for at least 20-30 minutes for their appointments, they most likely double book and squeeze as many in as possible, not conducive to good care.
