My husband and I lived there for 18 months.
Quick summary:
1. Location- (4.5). If you work DT or enjoy shows, games, sports, and casino- it is GREAT.
2. Apartment- dusty (3.5-4). The bricks are so dirty- but if like that rustic look it might work for you. There is no storage space and there are NO doors except for the ones on the bathroom. Curtains are doors (???).
3. Grounds-( 4.5). Always looks spiffy. Suzie does a great job and the maintenance team is TERRIFIC. The year round hot-tub was a deciding factor for us. The pool is open for 5-6 months, is clean, and has a heater. The smell in the elevator is horrable and embarrassing for such a "trying to be upscale" place.
4. Tenants (5)- Friendly. This is what we miss most about our stay at the CF.
5. Concierge team and service (4.5). Very pleasant but much turn-over which results because of item 6.
6. Management- (0). They are so RUDE. It is a shame that the enterprise management group of this office has not stepped in. Deb should not be in public relations. This group could have a long and loyal tenant group but they are so ANGRY about the management. The CF will stick you for every ounce of your deposit- so no wonder people leave it "as is" playing for someone to clean it doesn't help. They keep it anyway.
Our life circumstances will not have us returning to Pittsburgh. But if it did, I would stop for a visit to see if any of our friends are still there, and live somewhere else.
