A bunch of dinguses. I know that the towing business can be sticky and honestly it was my fault that I was parked where I was. I deserved the tow, but there isn't a lot of communication among the employees. I was told over the phone to just bring $100. Felt like a weird drug deal. Anyway, I get there and I'm told I need to get my registration, take it over to the police station, get a release form, and then come back. I didn't need to get my registration. So, after all that was done I went back and the guy behind the counter told me $118. "Oh, the guy on the phone told me it would be $100." "Nobody here would have told you that." If you're towed because of a violation in Lakewood then I don't think you can avoid Kufner, but I would recommend looking elsewhere for towing needs.
