Habanero's is a fast casual restaurant that offers Mexican food for a $1 less than Chipotle. Interested? Read on. I forgot to take a picture of the menu, so I'll explain it right here: You can pick between burrito, burrito bowl, quesadilla, tacos, salads, tortas, or nachos. They have five different meat options: steak beef (carne asada), shredded beef (barbacoa), spicy pork (al pastor), pull pork (carnitas), and chicken (I don't know a spanish term for this preparation of chicken). They also had $2 tamales that were not on the menu last time I was there, so ask about that if you want one. I've had a burrito and a taco order there before. Personally, I prefer the tacos because you can get a different meat in each of your three tacos, and they don't skimp either. Overall, I'm a fan of Habanero's. I find that their meats taste better than Chipotle's meats even if it's been in the warmer for a while. Their salsas aren't as good as Chipotle's, but look at that variety in menu options! Plus, their tacos are jam packed. I'll be back the next time I want some quick tacos.
