Sadly, I will never know what/how things went so wrong. My email communication was very prompt, professional and courteous. I was unfortunately held up due to a work emergency on the day of my appointment, so I called to say that I would not arrive within the 10minute window even though I was en route (because I needed time to park etc), so I was asked to reschedule. That seems fair, it was clearly stated in their confirmation for the appointment. One of the few stylists who does my type of hair - Firstly, the stylist with whom I had an appointment refused to come to the phone at all, because she was "with a customer" and instead gave instructions to the person on the phone to reschedule me as I listened to her in the background. This part confused me, if the stylist was still with someone then why did the appointment need to be rescheduled, no one bothered to explain anything to me. Secondly, she rescheduled me for two weeks out April 25th, then changed her mind and said May 11th ( a whole month out). Since, I will be attending an event that day, the time just didn't work for me, so I asked for alternate days. I was left on the phone indefinitely, no one came back so I had to hang up. That was my experience about getting my hair NOT done at Thorps.
