I've wanted to try meat and potatoes for a long time. It's one of the newer restaurants in Pittsburgh that everyone's been buzzing about.
I tried it out this weekend and I expected to be blown away and I was impressed but not blown away. The seating is tight and the tables are tiny. It's hard not to hear your neighbors entire conversation.
We ordered the brisket Mac and cheese and mussels to start. The brisket was great the Mac and cheese not so much. The mussels were really great! We got them in the Thai curry broth which was very tasty. We also shared the ribeye for 2. It's huge more like enough for 4. I wasn't a fan of the bone marrow but I can see how it can be appealing to some. (My dog really loved it!) The steak and potatoes were good.
