I have always taken my Civic to the dealership for oil changes because I can usually find an online coupon for $20. Well, during one of my oil changes, the dealership told me I needed the front brakes replaced and they would do it at a cost of $229.00 plus tax. Knowing that price was beyond ridiculous, I shopped around and came across Unlimited Brakes - thanks to Yelp! I called one afternoon and the owner, Mike answered the phone. He told me he could do the front brakes for only $139.99 and that included labor. I also needed the rear shoes reset and drums cleaned - only another $30.00 - lord only knows what the dealership would have charged me for that!
Yesterday I had my service. I showed up around 10am and the receptionist - Tabby is very friendly and extremely helpful. She drove me back to work and picked me up when my car was done around 2pm. The brakes feel great when I drive and I will definitely be coming back to this establishment again!!! Repair shops like this don't come along very often so please support them with your business, you'll be glad you did.
