Wow, what a lot of negative reviews. Yes, it's a bit hit-or-miss. You know why? Because it's a SCHOOL! So of course it's hit or miss. For a very little amount of money, you get a shampoo, and little scalp massage and a haircut. It's a complete bargain and the results are good. I'm a guy -- my needs are pretty basic. Usually the haircut at Vici Institute is very good, and I've never had anything bad happen. One time my stylist kind of messed up, but the instructor came by and neatened it up. If I weren't going to Vici Institute I'd go to some campus barber and get some grizzled old guy who smells of cigarettes. There would be no shampoo, and I'd get something totally utilitarian. It would be more expensive and far less pleasant. So set your expectations, and if you have specific requirements be clear and bring in a picture of what you want. Look in the mirror and take charge if you don't like what you see.
