I was recently at Mercy Gilbert for a fractured ankle. I will make the drive the few extra miles to here vs Casa Grande Banner Health. This place was the first time I have actually enjoyed going to the ER or the hospital at all for that matter. While I got ready, my husband checked did the online check in. We were taken in almost immediately! They had x-rays done within 30 minutes of being there and within 2 hours I had the orthopedic surgeon there setting me up for surgery the following day. I stayed a total of 2 nights rather than having me go home which was a good thing because the ER opened up earlier than my scheduled 1:30 pm time so I was there and prepped already. Only complaint was that for some reason I kept getting skipped when it came to the food service. But that is moot because I was on regular diet and my husband brought me stuff to eat. I was also offered a variety of basics like sandwiches etc from the nurses after being taken to my room because by the time I was all settled in the kitchen was closed. I hope to never have need to go again but if I do, I will go here in lieu of the closer Banner Health Casa Grande.
