Previously called "The Art of Flavors" and located in Downtown Las Vegas, this family-operated gelato business has now conveniently moved closer to my house. I don't even have a sweet tooth, and I love this place: The shop owner is incredibly nice, remembers her customers' names, and is genuinely passionate about the gelato she makes. I have never had cheese, salmon sushi, and lavender flavors for gelato before I came here, neither did I believe that I'd ever want to, but the shop owner does the impossible and just makes it work. She creates new special flavors of gelato every single day. Newbies, as well as regular customers, are free to try all the different flavors of gelato before they decide on which one to get, and if they get a bigger cup than the smallest size, they can choose more than one flavor. The place itself is a little small, but the atmosphere is comfortable enough for people to sit down in pairs or small groups and have a conversation. The prices aren't bad, considering how much time and effort goes into the gelato. I definitely recommend this place for a yummy treat.
