Usually I'm not too fond of resorts that don't have a single file line for check in (Vegas in particular) because it seems like its a free for all. The Mirage however, showed me that it can be quick and efficient if done right. When we arrived there was a gentlemen directing people into separate lines as they arrived in the general vicinity of the check in area. The transition seemed smooth and effortless. The Mirage is an older hotel, but the rooms have been remodeled to reflect a clean modern look with flat screen television, ipod doc, etc. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was on the small side, but it was clean and updated. I was happy with my stay at the Mirage and would definitely consider it for a future stay.
