I couldn't not leave a review... let me tell you why. I am currently scouting locations for my wedding next fall and naturally when I stumbled upon something close to what I have envisioned the next step would be to check the reviews... what I read here was concerning. It's clear that Legends has been a victim of defamation. When I called to schedule a Walkthrough JT asked me two questions: whether or not the ceremony was Christian and if we were of opposite sex. At first I was caught off guard. A little offended even. I have many friends in the LGBT community and I am all about same sex marriages. Love is love! But these are my beliefs and I understand that others do not feel the same. Even though both my fiancé and myself were taken back by the questions, we decided to go see Legends. Note that we are looking for a non denominational ceremony. I am so happy we did. JT treated us professionally and welcomed us into his IMMACULATE Ranch. There are no animals and even THE BARN smelled amazing. Like I was inside a home next to a glade plug in. While barns and the whole country style isn't really our thing, we found that the garden areas were EXACTLY what we wanted. I was floored by the versatility of the entire property and just how thorough JT was with everything. At the end of our Walkthrough we sat in the Bridal Suite and went over every detail (that he had mirrored from his iPad to the tv). It was actually just him going over the website so we could see for ourselves how to navigate the quote generator. The website was so informational and really left a lot of room for personalization. I'm in love with this place, but unfortunately it's a few thousand dollars out of our price range. After you add the cost of catering, bar services and seating it more than doubles the venue cost. You get what you pay for and although this is an exceptional location and the perks are too many to be listed we decided that the money we could save would be better off put towards our honeymoon. It is obvious that this Ranch is cared for and they have continued to pour money into it to keep it at its best. They should be proud. I think if they had tables and chairs of their own to offer it would a nice cut to the cost one less thing to worry about. Out sourcing vendors means it's going to cost the customer more in the long run... or at least it does in this case. We decided on a venue that offered not only the seating (chairs tables etc) but also a dance floor, customized cake, full bar for the evening and dinner menu. The price gap was large and worth it, to us. I highly recommend any bride to be disregard the negative Yelp reviews and visit Legends Ranch.
