So disappointed thought I found a neighborhood nail spot that I would love. So when a Groupon posted for it I thought perfect way to try it out. Spent $35 for a gel mani & sig pedi valued at $90. Honestly I wouldn't even pay $10 for the service I received. The place looks so nice but looks can b deceiving. First of all as I came in I over heard them say she brought her kids (and what's wrong with that they often come with me to get my nails done and sometimes they get nail polish changes they r 6 & 7 and usually a blast to have around they r girly girls that's why they enjoy going with me, but the girl doing my nails made me feel on edge like I was in a store full of crystal). Besides the "don't put ur feet up there it stains easy" & "don't spin in the chairs that's not what they r for" the quality of service I received was horrible. She started with my pedi which was a cold bath, no cuticle trim at all and the calis remover was like taking a nail file and rubbing ur heal $5 extra for that, ha. The massage was next and I think my 6 & 7 yr old daughters do better. Lastly the nail polish she held my feet & toes like she was to good to b doing such a thing but honey that's where u chose to work that's the job. My nail polish application like others before me the nail polish was bumpy & on some nails didn't even cover the entire nail. I could have done better in the privacy of my own home.
Next the Mani OMG! R u serious with this I came in with Gels which I sat through the entire pedi with them wrapped in foil by the time she got to them my nail beds where in so much pain. At this point I wanted to bolt but I just kept saying u paid for this just get it done & over & never come back. So as she gets to the 1st nail it's not coming off then comes the scrapping & the nail file it was so horrible I had to bite my tounge not to scream. Then another nail tech came over and said our next appointments r here lets tag team this and we can knock this out, she was great friendly and talked to my girls like they were ppl. She did an okay job for being rushed. Which BTW because their next appointments where there I got the shortened of the stick on this one I got a halfass job no cuticle trim my nails are not filed straight & I have gel polish all over my cuticles. No lotion hand massage she put oil on my cuticles and said u can wash ur hands if u want here's some lotion if u do. Puts the bottle on the table and says ok that's it. Thank God I bold to the counter give her my groupon she hands me 3 50% off coupons for me and my girls but I will NEVER b coming back nor in good faith could I refer someone here. So sad! So bummed!
