We started going to Catalina Cleaners simply because it was a discount cleaner. It was called Catalina $2.25 Cleaners, when it opened. Slowly buy surely, you started to realize that was a way to get people in the door, then transition into a full price cleaner. They incrementally raised their prices slowly, one quarter at a time. We didn't mind, because it was close by and very convenient AND we always had a coupon. However, as the prices went up to match full service cleaners, the quality that those other cleaners offered never compared. It was simply put, a discount cleaner, charging full price. Nevertheless, we still didn't mind, because we always had a coupon and didn't need the cleaning to be pristine. The problem comes in when the coupons stop coming. It's NOT worth the full price. The quality is just not there compared a a professional cleaner. It's an ok cleaner if you just have casual clothes or laundry that doesn't need cleaned or pressed superbly, and have a coupon, but to pay full price, it's not the place to go. We switched to OnePrice Delivery Cleaners where they pick up and drop off your clothes for you with personalized service, for the SAME PRICE as Catalina's low quality service, and you get superior customer service to boot.
