Though I'm new to the dog park group and have only gone to just one other one, this is still my favorite place to take my 14 month old, 8 pound ShiChi. It's really easy to find, right on the intersection. The whole space was designed very well, with ample parking, many people/pet drinking fountains, and the grounds within the two designated areas always well maintained. (Other than my clumsy sister stepping in a little poop on our last visit. ) Plus, the park has great hours and is always well lit, so my pup and I can come here in the early morning or late in the afternoon. There is always a variety of people and dogs at Chaparral, too, so each time is a different experience. I just wish it didn't take 20 minutes to get there... oh well.
