OKAY. No freaking shame here. I came here last night and had a great time. I'm pretty sure this place is one of those places that tries to be classy, but not that hard. The bouncers are dressed in suits and... Uh, I guess thats where the "classy" ends. The girls here are not the type of girls you'd associate with a strip joint. Out of the ones I saw I'd say 1/3 were plus sized which I think is fantastic. A few were covered in tattoos and another few of them kinda had that hipster look, and a few were definitely older than 30. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and Cleopatra Cafe must agree. End rant.
I bought my boyfriend a dance which was $20. The girl was very pushy and made it obvious that uh, this place is full contact. Definitely. I guess the pushy-ness is to be expected at a strip joint. My boyfriend said he enjoyed the dance. The girl also commented that he has a cool girlfriend. I concur. This place had a really great atmosphere and mix of people. College students, lots of girls surprisingly, some older dudes but none of which gave me the creeps. Lots of people were bold enough to go on stage with money in their mouth looking for some action which makes for an entertaining (and hilarious) time. Drinks were wicked expensive though, $8 per mixed drink. Ouch.
Oh and to top our experience off my boyfriend lost his wallet and there were 2 bouncers helping us look for it and a few of the girls too. We found it thankfully, but it was awesome they were so willing to help.
