This was first time coming to the Asian Festival and Im highly upset I had never been before! I came mostly for the food but the shows were amazing! There are truly some talented kids out there. All very moving performances. Most of the stalls feature the same merchandise which were kind of a bummer. But there are some that have some rare and different things. There were free henna tattoos but of course the line was crazy long. There was also one where they wrote your name in Chinese for a couple bucks. The proceeds going towards their schooling program. So you just have to really look around and find the hidden gems. The Asian grocery store was open and once again crazy long lines. As for the food...I just wish I could have eaten more! So many options but we cut the day short and only had time for chicken and rice with a few different egg rolls. Definitely on my to-do list for next year!!
