Basically stayed here because of location on the strip and price. Gotta say this is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at on the strip the only thing I can say about this place that is positive is the location. Its located better on the than Luxor and they where about the same price. The Monte Carlo is atleast going through a massive remodel so things will be looking up for the property and I'm sure prices will be a lot better bet gotta say MGM should be embarrassed of this property right now because I had a stained sheet on my bed. Also the carpet in the room was shaggy several places in the room had wallpaper peeling off the wall. Also the a/c didn't work that well. Most of the places in hotel seemed to close a little early in the evening which kind of sucked because I wanted to grab something b4 I went up and it was only 11pm but whatever. I won't be staying here again maybe after the remodel but for right now it would be hard for me to stay here for free. This property should be embarrassed to charge a resort fee with the rooms looking that they have been furnished in Salvation Army decor!
