The lied library has so much potential, but it isn't quite there yet. Great architecture from the outside, but because of the high ceiling, they should've made more floors rather than being an open space. Because of this, the library gets overcrowded and cannot accommodate enough tables for students. People are always scavenging for tables forever. Plus, the wifi needs to be upgraded as well. Especially during midterms and finals is when the library is the most packed. It is also the time when the Internet is HORRIBLE! As a university library, wifi should be strong enough to accommodate students at max capacity. Also, it would be so much better if the library was 24/hrs or at least opened longer than its current times.
Other than that, the library provides a lot for students such as different types of scanners/printers/types of computers, free laptop rentals, many closed in private study rooms and more. Again, lots of potential but not quite there yet
