There is a reason I never hear anyone talking about staying at this hotel: IT's NASTY! Staying here for the weekend for my birthday... Got hit with a "resort" fee upon arrival of $55. Got to our room and it was below a Motel 6... Furniture was old, stained... And dirtyyyyy... Dusty. Seriously? We went back downstairs, asked for a supervisor and were told we could pay $30 more a night & be upgraded to a room in the new tower. Asked if we could have a late check out on Sunday for the inconvience & was told there was a $75 charge for that... Really? Wow. Customer service on a scale of 1-10, 10 being best... I'd give them a gracious 2. Got to the new room and it was better in comparison but still disappointing. With all the hotel competition you would think the stratosphere would up their game... Ahhhh, no. Should have known we were in trouble when we saw that everyone behind the desk was wearing t-shirts. Grinning & bearing it to make the best of my birthday but not patronizing this hotel ever again. ***update: it gets worse... Hubby & I decided to get room service. Sat on hold for over an hour--- NO ONE EVER PICKED UP... We are now heading down to Starbucks. This place sucks!
