It's Tax Time!
I usually have my sister file my taxes on Turbo Tax, but since she didn't have the time and my taxes this year seemed to be a little complicated I decided to search my way on the yellow pages. Unique Accounting was the only one that had great reviews and the price wasn't bad compared to the other places I called. The price to file your taxes started at $89 (on yellow pages there is a 10% discount on individual taxes, mention that and you'll get your discount).
Jason was very friendly and helpful because since they are usually off on the weekends, I told him that I can't make it on the weekdays since I am working and I am only off on the weekends. He said they can do weekends by appointment only; I decided to make an appointment for Saturday morning. Jason said our taxes will be ready by Tuesday and that the IRS is a little bit backed up with people receiving their taxes on time.
