New review: love it but prices are higher than other Asian grocery shops, clean, efficient

I made the mistake of grocery shopping there on the day before Chinese New Year. There were so many people even before noon. It was difficult to shop with lots of customers combined with staff deciding to merchandise and blocking narrow aisles with pallets of inventory. Why now of all days?
Counters were fully staffed but they seem to be ignoring the dozen of customers waiving their tickets in the air and kept their backs turned towards the wall. I also got deliberately shoved by staff twice who wanted to bypass me in the aisles as if I was a crate. Seriously?
Checkout was slow and customers were fighting and shoving each other. It didn't feel like they're celebrating a special occasion. Staff was miserable maybe because it was busy?
Overall, it was not a good visit but it's not often this happens here. I'll have to remember not to shop here during special occasions. Too bad really. It would have been nice to have a more festive feel like you've travelled abroad to join festivities as a customer.
If it wasn't for their awesome product selection, I would seriously give them a one star and never return.
