After a late night, and not much sleep we all decided that a good breakfast was in order. So we walked over toThe Buffet at the beautiful Aria Resort and Casino which was right across from our hotel the Vdara.
I noticed many of the reviews listed are for the dinner buffet, keep in mind this review is for the breakfast buffet.
The moment we arrived, i noticed quite a long lineup which lead me to believe two things, either its a very good buffet and its super busy, or the service was going to be bad. Well has it turned out (luckily) it was the first point. We waited for about 15mins before we were seated, not bad at all. You have to pay first before you can enter and the cost was 15.95! I was stunned, that is an amazing price for the breakfast experience I was about to have.
The Buffet is an open concept and bright space. The decor was very " vegas" in that it was chic and the consistent elements from outside the hotel were carried inside. Since the Aria itself is quite new in Vegas it was very modern and this translated to the decor inside. The tables were spaced out well, so that i didn't have others staring at my plate to see what I got. :)
The service was excellent. The lady that served our table was very attentive, friendly, and made some great suggestions on what to get.
The buffet itself was laid out quite well. You had lots of room to maneuver around to get to the food you want. But with this place, trust me you will want everything.
The food was fresh, you had your standard fare of eggs, bacon, potatoes etc, but you also had many unique dishes. Too many to list here.. The omelets are amazing...the Portuguese sausage..yum...they also had some chinese items in the buffet..the cakes..the fruit..you name it..it was amazing.
If your in Vegas and want a great breakfast buffet..you gotta try this place...forget the Bellagio breakfast buffet..its over hyped..food not as fresh.overpriced...but that is for another review..;)
