We ordered a sheet cake for my daughter's birthday. It was beautifully decorated with turquoise frosting and a white horse. The cake texture was a little dense, but excellent. The frosting was delicious, not too sweet and didn't get runny after being on the table a few hours. I thought the price was reasonable given that it truly was a work of art. The quality of ingredients was excellent. I would get a cake here again. We usually get ours from Jean Marc in Millvale, but he was closed. I think this cake is just as good as Jean Marc Chatellier, but the decorations were much better.i did notice that they had a lot of beautifully decorated sugar cookies with lots of icing. Pretty to look at, but most people don't really like them. It seems like their donuts were a big draw. Maybe they should focus on that. We had about 10 slices that I stored in the freezer and we ate over the next month, they stayed very fresh and I thawed them and we enjoyed them. They should bake and freeze sheet cakes that they can decorate while people wait. People could just thaw them at room temperature for a few hours before serving. I would think that would be a big draw to be able to stop in and pick up a special cake without preordering. Seems like a great place, I hope they stay in business!
