My wife and I are 3 years post-construction of our Shasta pool and my recommendation is to avoid them if possible.
While there may be more expensive pool companies out there, this is one occasion when you get what you pay for.
Trust me when I say that dealing with Shasta is a constant battle and in the end, you may end up with a substandard pool which you end up paying for a few years down the road (see my two photos just posted of our pool surface, despite routine cleaning and maintenance).
