Recently replacing Fat City as well as Ozpresso. Whiskey Wine Room is now open in the NoDa neighborhood to all with a fine taste in wine or whiskey. Located conveniently by the YMCA parking lot this bar has a less divey feel than the rest of the bars here in NoDa. They offer bar seating as well as a few tables and soon they will offer a large patio.
They carry a good amount of scotch and bourbon and also have wine on tap. They have craft beer on tap as well as in bottles. Don't expect to find your typical domestics here either and if they do have some expect it to be limited. The owner is a great guy and very easy to get along with. However this is not a bar to raise hell in. Stop on in and grab a whiskey. Neat or on the rocks you decide!
