(I'm leaning towards 4 and a half stars.....)
An excellent local. Good selection of beers, and they seem to clean and maintain their taps very well, because the pints taste very fresh and clear. Also a decent selection of whiskeys behind the bar.
Food is excellent. The menu is limited, but all the items are very well-prepared, and they were very accommodating of a dinner companion who asked for several substitutions (waiter didn't mince and moan, just said "sure, we can do that" to each request).
Servers are knowledgeable and friendly, the atmosphere is lively and convivial, and the space is well laid out. It's exactly what you're looking for if you want a good pub.
