We've waited to see if the apartment would get rented by someone else, and as of today, it did. So, Robin Vest called me this morning to let me know that the unit we had placed our deposit on was no longer available. I was a bit anxious/upset at first, but then she informed me that they did have another 3 bedroom apartment become available that worked for us. And, speaking honestly, it worked a little better as far as timelines go. Yay, universe!
Despite this being a very long, very complicated process (more complicated than I would've liked), I really do appreciate the fact that Robin Vest has personally stayed in VERY close communication with us, and did everything she could do to make sure we were able to get into a 3 bedroom apartment here, one way or another.
I'm glad this worked out, and I'm thankful for Robin's help. She remained calm, kind, and polite throughout this process and I'm GLAD it's over. We finally know where we're going to live next month! WOO! Lol. I highly recommend speaking with Robin Vest if you ever have any issues here. She does a wonderful job of problem solving. That sort of thing is a bit of a lost art these days.
I'm keeping an open mind about our move to the Fairways, and putting all of this behind us. Hopefully we can dodge the baby scorpions (even though I'm a microbiology major and scorpions are SUPER cool to me) and make some great memories and some new neighbor friends!
