My husband and I went to Gibby's as an early anniversary dinner on our trip to Montreal. We had made a reservation, so we were promptly seated (in the downstairs dining room).
The service was fantastic - our waiter was very nice & funny and we didn't have to wait long for our food.
I LOVED the free pickles on the table and the bread was delicious.
The pewter places and costumey uniforms on the servers added a nice old-world charm. The entire place just felt so cozy.
Food-wise, it's great.
It's been a while since we went, but I'm fairly certain I can remember what we got!
To start, I went with the Gazpacho and my husband got the salad. The croutons were AMAZING.
We had planned on splitting a steak, but in the end, we splurged and each got the Filet Mignon (I got the petite). They were perfectly cooked and we both cleared our plates.
For dessert, we split the Crème Brûlée and Gibbys Chocolate Delight (a medley of smooth, dark and crunchy).
We were completely stuffed after, but it was totally worth it. I would DEFINITELY recommend Gibby's.
