When I heard that the Mob Museum opened a speakeasy in the basement I had to check it out. Hours are the same as the museum. Before 5pm you can get in with museum admission. After 5pm is free. They post a password daily on social media. I was prepared with the word of the day but was not asked for it. As you make your way down the steps there are prohibition posters on the walls and exhibits to learn more about the era. Once inside we found a table and checked out the cocktail menu. There were many cocktails to chose from but unfortunately not all of them were available. We ordered a Lock & Key and Blinker. Drinks took awhile to come out. The drinks were good. Not exactly our taste but fun to try. There was a singer with a small band singing songs from the 20's and 30's . She was good and added a nice touch to the atmosphere. There are exhibits throughout the bar so even if you can't grab a seat at least you have something to read while you stand.
